- 45 years-old. Born in Brooklyn, NY; grew up in Brookline 1973-1985. Attended Brookline schools.
- Lives in Roxbury. Boston resident since 1985, in neighborhoods Allston; Mission Hill; the Fenway; Brighton; Harbor Point (Dorchester); the South End; Meetinghouse Hill (Dorchester)
- Divorced, co-parents two boys and one girl with his ex-wife. One son attends Boston Public Schools, the other a charter school.
- Business Manager for Burnham Rosen Group, a leadership development & training firm in downtown Boston. (current)
- Data consultant for Robert F. Kennedy Childrens Action Corps (current)
- Treasurer for Friends of the Melnea A. Cass Recreation Center in Roxbury (current)
- Held many roles in youth development programs serving high-risk youth, from Street Worker to Project Director, from 1994-2003, at the City of Boston; Ella J. Baker House; other non-profits. Managed three federal grants worth nearly $7 million.
- Social media coordinator for the last Boston Gun Buyback; organizer of citywide moment of silence for victims of Woolson Street; and other peace activism.
- Former Treasurer for Methunion Manor Cooperative Corporation, a 149-unit housing cooperative in the South End.
- Co-founder, Harbor Point Tenants Rights Organization
- Campaign volunteer for Sheneal Parker for City Council (campaign manager); State Representative Carlos Henriquez; Flaherty/Yoon for Mayor (Ward 9 coordinator); City Councillor Ayanna Pressley; Cornell Mills for City Council.
